I. Product Characteristics
The product is a liquid, available in three packaging options: ton bags, 250kg drums, and bulk packaging.
Density: (20℃) 1.15-1.25 (g/cm3)
PH: (20℃) 8.00-9.50
Solid content: 40-50 (%)
Suitable dosage: 0.1-0.2%
II. Scope of Application and Effects
Used in the production of mineral powder and cement with vertical mills, it offers advantages of low energy consumption and stable performance, and is being increasingly used by more and more enterprises.
This grinding aid is designed for the characteristics of vertical mill grinding process, it has the function of improving the activity of mineral powder and cement strength, and can also improve the mill output and stabilize the mill process.
III. Case Studies
Case Study 1: Yunnan DJ Cement Co., Ltd. used this cement grinding aid in vertical mills.
Results:
1. With a grinding aid dosage of 0.2% per hour, the output of the cement clinker mill increased from the original 139 tons/hour to 159 tons/hour, an increase of 14.3%.
2. The 3-day compressive strength of P·O42.5 cement mixed with mineral powder increased from the original 30.4 MPa to 36.0 MPa, and the 28-day compressive strength increased from the original 61.6 MPa to 66.6 MPa.
Case Study 2: Guangxi YF Building Materials Co., Ltd. used this cement grinding aid, with an addition amount of 0.15% based on the weight of mineral powder, in mineral powder grinding.
Results:
1. Mill output increased from the original 50 tons/hour to 55 tons/hour, an increase of 10%
2. The 7-day activity of the mineral powder increased from the original 67% to 75%, and the 28-day activity increased from the original 102% to 112%.
IV. Characteristics of Cement Using This Grinding Aid
1. The fluidity of cement and mineral powder will increase.
2. Cement mortar flow slightly increases.
3. The standard consistency water content is slightly reduced.
4. Setting time is slightly extended by about 60 minutes, or longer as needed by the customer.
V. Method of Addition During Use
If no heightening of the grinding aid addition is required, a metering pump can be used for metering.
When it is necessary to increase the feeding height, the method of two-stage pumping is generally used, as shown in the diagram below:

VI. Precautions
1. This grinding aid should be used only after passing inspection.
1) A simpler method is to test the density, PH value and color, or solid content of the newly arrived grinding aid and the sample of the used grinding aid that has been proved to be qualified under the same temperature conditions. When the two are within the error range, it can be considered qualified for use;
2) Using a cement without additives that has the same composition as the produced cement, conduct cement strength mixing tests in the same laboratory with the qualified sample JT-D-3 and the newly arrived grinding aid sample, respectively. When the three-day strength of the two is within the error range, it is considered qualified;
When using the grinding aid continuously, the first method is generally used. Only when there is a larger difference in the quality of the grinding aid should the second method be used.
2. During transportation and storage, the grinding aid should be protected from dropping, smashing, external force compression and high temperature, and the stacking height should not exceed two drums;
3. Before use, check the company's label and then open the lid, and confirm that the product and model are correct before use;
4. This product has mild corrosive properties to the skin. After skin contact, rinse with water. It must not be ingested;
5. When using this product, if the ambient temperature is continuously below -5℃ for 5 days, insulation measures should be taken to prevent product crystallization from affecting normal use.
6. The shelf life of this product is 12 months.
